Rekha Chaudhari Awarded Philosophiae Doctor Honoris Causa by Sorbon University, France


With skin being in following the boom in the beauty business, it’s only natural that beauty & wellness champions get their moment in the sun!
In this case, MD - Oneline Wellness Pvt. Ltd., and Queen of Spas and the wellness industry, Rekha Chaudhari was recently felicitated with the Philosophiae Doctor Honoris Causa honour at the 5th Sorbon International Convocation held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Organised by Dr John Thomas Prade from Sorbon University, France, in conjunction with the IIPPT Foundation India, Rekha Chaudhari was honoured in the field of Health & Wellness at the conclave.

An elated Global Wellness Ambassador Dr Rekha Chaudhari reveals, “Twenty- five years ago, when I came to the city to pursue a career in the field of beauty, times were tough and it was the same when I transitioned into the spa & wellness space. I just kept working hard as the road to success is seldom smooth.”

Global wellness Ambassador Dr.Rekha Chaudhari continues, “I am glad I got the opportunity to associate with award-winning European skincare and SPA  brands such as Rémy Laure, Phytomer, ASP and B.LAB. Also got honoured with many prestigious organisations worldwide to explore and work in the wellness industry last decade. 

Be it setting up the high-end luxury Spa across the world and having Own popular Caressaa Day Spa  Juhu or my various patented treatments such as the Geo Thermo Therapy and Rope Massage Therapy, they have all found their niche following. We have also successfully  trained   Tribal youth in beauty & wellness capacities in our various village schools  and successfully transformed there life by offering them jobs in the cities Spa and Salons .” It’s all these activities that lead to another laurel in her cap!

A Celeb-Studded Party of Ravinder Jeet Dariya’s Mushkil - Fear Behind You


Producer Ravinder Jeet Dariya threw a party for friends and family right ahead of his film, Mushkil - Fear Behind You’s release, slated for 9th August ‘19. Satellite The Club in Andheri West came alive as the film’s cast, crew and other celebrity guests were spotted tapping their feet to choiciest numbers over lip smacking delicacies! Producer-Host Ravinder Jeet Dariya, the film’s lead cast Rajniesh Duggall and Kunaal Roy Kapur alongside director Rajiv S Ruia were the first to arrive while Pooja Bisht, Nazia Hussain, Shafaq Naaz, Giorgia Andriani, Kurush Deboo, Nikitin Dheer, Navraj Hans, followed suit right after. 

Incidentally, the film’s team also launched the romantic song Naina Naina, crooned by Nakul Chhawchharia and set to music by Ravi Chopra, earlier in the day. The mellow song takes us through the initial journey of falling in love and is shot beautifully around the ghats of Benares. 

Directed by Rajiv S Ruia and produced by Ravinder Jeet Dariya under the banner Big Bat Films, Mushkil – Fear Behind You is the story of four friends who end up at a forbidden castle. Do watch out for Mushkil - Fear Behind You which is all set for nationwide release on 9th August, 2019.

Rohit Verma to represent India with rainbow of woven cultural colours at India Day Parade, Atlanta – IACA Festival of India



It is not always that the tri-colour manifests itself to accommodate the myriad hues of the rainbow at its resplendent best. But when it does, you can be sure it spells inclusiveness and acceptance of sheer talent!

In this case, the talent we refer to is the amazing designer Rohit Verma who is doing India proud by walking the India Day Parade at Atlanta this August.

Verma, known for the classy Indianness in designs, will be displaying his amazing collection at the IACA Festival of India at Atlanta as well. He declares, "I am excited to be at the illustrious IACA Festival of India. Taking my Indian flag to Atlanta while representing my Indian culture and art gives me immense pleasure. A special thanks to Kamleshji who invited me and the entire team of IACA.”

Speaking about the collection, Verma reveals, “I’ve used different Indian fabrics such as hand-woven Khadi and cotton to represent the true essence of India on the runway. The collection will portray my emotions for India.”
Exults Verma, “It’s a great honour to be representing India at the India Day Parade. Jai Hind!”

Legendary Singer Padma Vibhushan Asha Bhosle Felicitated with Swami Ratna Award, while Marathi superstar Swwapnil Joshi & poet Shri N. D. Mahanor honoured with Swami Bhushan Awards


The 32nd foundation day of the Shri Swami Samarth Annachatra Trust (Akkalkot) was celebrated on July 15, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. The day also saw the Trust and its President, and King of Akkalkot, Shri Janmejayraje Vijaysinhraje Bhosale, organise the first Annual Swami Ratna, Swami Bhushan and Swami Sevak Awards. At the ceremony, beloved music icon Padma Vibhushan Asha Bhosle was awarded the first Swami Ratna National Award 2019 and honoured with a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh. Marathi superstar Swwapnil Joshi and popular poet/lyricist Shri N. D. Mahanor were also felicitated with the Swami Bhushan State Awards 2019, receiving cash prizes of Rs 1.25 lakh each.
After receiving the award, legendary singer Asha Bhosle said, “I feel this award is God sent to me. This is my first visit to Akkalkot, a land blessed by Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj ji, and I am fortunate to have been felicitated by the King of Akkalkot, Shri Janmejayraje Bhosale ji. Shri Janmejayraje ji is doing great work at the Trust and this will only increase manifold.”
On the occasion, noted Marathi poet/lyricist N.D. Mahanor said, “The decision of the Annachatra Trust, headed by Shri Janmejayraje ji, to award me this prize is like Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj ji’s blessing. I will remember this award for as long as I live.” Shri Mahanor ji also thanked the Mangeshkar family for nominating him for this felicitation.
Swwapnil Joshi, one of the brightest stars in the sky of Marathi cinema today, was thrilled at receiving the award.  “My parents have told me that this Award by the Annachatra Trust and Shri Janmejayraje ji is actually Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj ji’s immense blessings showered on me. I am so glad I am receiving it alongside the iconic Asha ji and Mahanor ji. I am thrilled to be sharing the same stage as the Mangeshkar family, whose music has been such an inspiration,” said the superstar.  
The President of the Annachatra Trust Shri Janmejayraje Vijaysinhraje Bhosale ji has set up the first Annual Swami Awards in the memory of his late father Shri Vijaysinhraje Bhosale. He was glad to have the support of Padmashree Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar all along. Shri Janmejayraje ji’s daughter-in-law Shrimati Arpitaraje Amolraje Bhosale also honoured eminent jourmalist, film maker and media strategist Anusha Srinivasan Iyer alongside the awardees.

Rohit Verma turns the ramp into Runway of Dreams for the differently-abled!

 
Global designer Rohit Verma has always been known to follow his heart. And his heart seems to be in the right place when it comes to standing up for children. Rohit Verma has turned the ramp walk into a catwalk for a cause by spearheading a fundraiser for differently-abled children called Mydream Fashion Trunk Show at the Capitolio Reception Hall, Houston, Texas, USA.
Organized by the Mydream Global Foundation, a New Jersey based non-profit organisation, the event will see Rohit Verma at his creative best as well.
"Children are a manifestation of the divine. I am grateful to Lord Krishna that I am a tool," says an elated Rohit Verma. 
Mydream Global Foundation, the brainchild of Rashmi Bedi, a former Mrs India New Jersey, works towards helping differently-abled children. They have also organised events in aid of soldiers and their families, for empowering women through education, and are the people behind the National Bravery Awards and Bharat Global Icon Awards. Ms Bedi was also felicitated with the New York State Highest Woman Empowerment Award for her contribution to society.
